New Forest and Bournemouth at Warner Lakeside
From charming cities to tranquil forests, this fantastic short break has something for everyone! Staying at Warner’s Lakeside Village on Hayling Island, your surroundings are that of a real life thriving village; a bright courtyard at the centre, a café and restaurant, bars, and the warm, friendly atmosphere you would expect.
The perfect base to begin our tour from, we travel through the New Forest, taking in the stunning woodland scenery, to arrive in Bournemouth – its glorious 7-mile sandy beach has long been a draw for holidaymakers! You’ll get to discover a rich maritime history when we visit Portsmouth, a city packed with world-class attractions and plenty of things to see and do. With time at leisure or the opportunity to explore Lyndhurst, we weren’t kidding when we said this break is perfect for all kinds of interests!
You will stay for four nights at either the Warner Lakeside or Warner Sinah Warren.

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Warner's Lakeside for a four-night stay.

Day 2
New Forest to Bournemouth
Today we travel through the tranquil New Forest. Remaining largely unchanged from the days when William the Conqueror ‘hunted the beasts of the chase’, this historic region enjoys stunning scenery and is dotted with pretty villages.
We continue to seaside Bournemouth. A long-time favourite with British holiday-makers, admire the sweeping coastal views and lively holiday attractions.

Day 3
Morning in Bognor Regis, Afternoon at leisure
This morning we make our way to Bognor Regis, a truly classical seaside resort and officially the sunniest town in Britain! After some free time here we make our way back to Warner Lakeside where the remainder of the day is free for you to make the most of the activities and entertainment on offer.
There's a whole host of things to do - enjoy a dip in the indoor-heated swimming pool, enjoy a game of bowls on the indoor mat, or perhaps try something new with a spot of archery, rifle-shooting or croquet*!

Day 4
Portsmouth
Enjoy an included excursion to the waterfront city of Portsmouth, home to the British Royal Navy for over 500 years and boasting a wealth of maritime history.
A city surrounded by the sea, you'll find some of the finest maritime museums in the country here as well as the soaring, modern Spinnaker Tower that provides views of the coast and beyond. Or, maybe you'd prefer to explore the cobbled streets of Old Portsmouth that evoke the times of vagabonds and smugglers, yet today they're filled with traditional pubs, tea rooms and fish markets!

Return home.

Further Information
Coach seating arrangements
Your seats on the main coach will be allocated for you in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible. Your Tour Manager or driver will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)
Joining your holiday
Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.
Meal arrangements
Where meals are not included, your Tour Manager will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch each day.
Special requirements
If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.
Disabled access
The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
When you're out and about in the sun, a comfy bed, good lighting and a bit of peace is just what you need.
