One of the brightest jewels in the English Riviera’s crown, compact Paignton greets you with the welcoming sight of its long stretch of beautiful and easily accessible beachfront, promenade, traditional pier and colourful beach huts. Famous for its paddler-friendly waters. Iit is extremely popular with older visitors as it provides a unique chance to stretch the legs, grab some fresh sea air, relax and take in unrivalled views of Torquay to the north and Brixham to the south. A great selection of included visits ensures you will have a weekend break to remember and this friendly little hotel situated close to the seafront!

Itinerary

Day 1 From your chosen joining point your feeder vehicle will take you to the designated interchange point where your weekend break begins. After joining your holiday coach, heading to the South Devon coast to arrive in Paignton mid- afternoon. 3 or 4 nights with breakfast & dinner.

Days 2 - 3 or 4  At leisure in Paignton with 2 included excursions.

Exmouth

Exmouth is one of the oldest and most picturesque seaside towns in Devon. The town is the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and has two miles of sandy beach, which is perfect for walks and water sports.

Totnes 

Totnes is an historic market town surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful countryside.  Sitting in the heart of South Devon on the banks of the River Dart, this unique and charming town has an international reputation for its lively and diverse community and relaxed atmosphere. Returning to Paignton for some free time.

Return Day - Breakfast, check out and head for home with lots of happy memories. There will be a refreshment stop before reaching interchange.

Seafront position

Set in beautiful grounds, The Palace Hotel is situated in a desirable location on Paignton's Esplanade and directly opposite Paignton seafront with Paignton town centre only a short walk away.

This fabulous hotel offers efficient and professional service and tastefully decorated en suite bedrooms, many with sea views.

There is an entertainment programme running every night of the week all year round, wireless internet connections & a health suite.

Their extensive food and wine menu will provide the perfect dining experience with a mouth-watering selection of dishes and desserts. All bedrooms have TV's and hospitality tray.

Coach seating arrangements

Your seats on the main coach will be allocated for you in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible. Your Tour Manager or driver will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)

Joining your holiday

Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 7 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.

Meal arrangements

Where meals are not included, your Tour Manager will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch and/or dinner each day.

Triple rooms

The majority of these consist of a double bed and an extra bed that is often only suitable for children. If this is a concern, you may wish to consider booking more than one room for your group.

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Disabled access

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
