Warners Gunton Hall

Warners Gunton Hall

Even though it's within walking distance of the beach, Gunton Hall located near to Lowestoft on the east coast is surrounded by 55 acres of woodland gardens, a picturesque lake and pitch and putt course. So it's more relaxing than you might expect a seaside destination to be. But the village square, bowls and leisure complex and large dance floor still gives us the buzzing, sociable atmosphere you'd expect from Warner. If you would rather enjoy a more active visit to Gunton why not take part in the abundance of activities to keep you on your toes. No matter how you choose to fill your days there is plenty on offer - Indoor bowls, table tennis, rifle shooting and archery, indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room.

At leisure with ONE included excursion

Sheringham & Wells Next to the Sea

Sheringham is a rare example of a seaside town hardly changed from a century ago yet thriving still on a potent mixture of Norfolk charm. An award winning beach, steam railway and locally run shops make a stop here a must. Continuing along the Norfolk coast to Wells Next the Sea - The Quay and The Granary, the busy fishing Quay is an ever popular attraction. You can buy cockles and crab sticks from the fish stall and watch the fishing boats come and go. The freshly caught seafood is a speciality in many of the local restaurants, and eating fish 'n chips on the quay is a popular pastime. One of the main industries of the town in the 19th century was malting. Some of the granaries and maltings still exist, and an impressive feature of the harbour is the large granary building with its distinctive overhanging gantry. Built in 1903, the granary has been turned into luxury flats with magnificent views of the harbour.

Day 4

After breakfast your homeward journey commences and with refreshment stops on the way, you will arrive back in your local towns mid-evening.
